Shipping Policy

For most items, our shipping cut-off time is 10 AM EST Monday through Friday and 9 AM EST Saturday. This means that orders placed up to 10 AM EST Monday through Friday (9 AM EST Saturday) will typically ship out the same day. Orders placed after 10 AM EST, Monday through Friday, will ship out the next day. Orders placed after 9 AM EST Saturday through 10 AM EST Monday will ship out on Monday. Some products may take longer to prepare and these exceptions will be noted within the product details. Packages that rate best with FedEx service cannot be shipped out on Saturday and will be held until Monday. Postal holidays are observed.

Our standard shipping option is with the US Postal Service or FedEx (our choice), and includes First-Class Mail, Priority Mail, Parcel Mail, and Ground Service, depending on the order. Typical transit times are from 2 to 6 days, but this level of service does not provide a shipping time guarantee.

For those who would prefer it, we also have an option to ship via FedEx ground specifically. You can select your preferred shipping option during checkout.

A shipping confirmation email is sent for all orders at the time your order is scheduled for shipment. This email includes details as to the type of shipping used, the date your order is scheduled to depart, an estimate of the transit time, as well as a tracking number.

To report an issue with your shipment, simply email us at info@basispet.com. Please include your order number and/or the last name associated with the billing address for your order. We'll respond within 1 business day or less.
