Can I cancel or change my order?

Maybe. If your order has yet to ship, we may be able to cancel or alter the order. Send an e-mail to info@basispet.com if you'd like to cancel or change an order and we'll let you know if it's possible. Please include your order number, contact information (name and phone number), as well as a brief explanation of what you'd like to do with your order. We cannot change or cancel an order once it has shipped.

I'm not comfortable ordering online. Do you take orders over the phone?

Yes, we can very easily take orders over the phone. Feel free to call us at our toll free number 1-888-399-6842. If we don't answer, feel free to leave a message with your name and a good call back number. We don't get many calls, so we don't often man the phone, but we do call back as promptly as we can.

Will the Basis Pet dog bowls fit in my existing stand or holder?

It's unlikely, but possible. Please click here to learn more about assessing compatibility of our bowls with an existing stand or holder.

Do you make slow feed dog bowls?

We don't currently have any slow feed bowl options, but we're working on it. It's an active effort, but still in the very early design and research phase, so we can't really estimate when we'll have a finished product for sale.

Do you have any warranties on your products?

We do not have formal warranties on our products. In our experience, most warranties have so many exceptions that they aren't worth the paper they're written on. We do have a 30 day return window along with a nearly 10 year track record of providing real support to our customers no matter when they placed their order.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Unfortunately we don't ship outside of the U.S. at this time, but there are a couple of ways you may still be able to get our products. Click here to learn more.

It's been a while and I haven't received my order. What should I do?

First, check the tracking information associated with your order. We always send out an email when an order ships to confirm the shipment, and this email also includes a tracking number.

If you see an irregularity in the tracking information, like no tracking update for an extended period of time, or if your package shows as delivered yet you never received it, please send us an email (info@basispet.com) or give us a call. We'll be happy to follow up and resolve the issue.

Do you provide any expedited shipping options?

Currently we do not provide any guaranteed or expedited shipping options. We've found that all major carriers too often miss the guaranteed delivery dates and we're not comfortable providing a service that costs a lot and too often fails.
